Venue: SBS Reception Lounge (Common Room) at the IIB and SBS entrance to the Thomas Building, 3a Symonds St, School of Biological Sciences.

Parking: University is well serviced by bus routes, and car parking is available under the University of Auckland Business School (the Owen G Glenn Building) on Grafton Rd.

Guest Speaker: This month we welcome Angus Brown –“ Commercialising New Zealand's first Brain Drink”

Angus Brown is the CEO and founder of AlphaGen NZ - a food-tech company developing functional foods for the future consumer. Their first product platform is ?repa (M?ori for alpha), a clinically tested natural formula that improves mental clarity, available as liquid beverage, capsules and powder. Their research focuses on NZ natural ingredients and neuroscience and the products are now being exported around the world. Prior to this he worked for central government at New Zealand Food Innovation Network based in the $20m food incubator facility The FoodBowl where he consulted the industry on developing and commercialising new food and beverage products for the export market.
