Guest Speaker: Anthony Lawler “A simple journey to find a simple treatment for cold sore”
Anthony Lawler is the CEO of HoneyLab, who apply Pharmaceutical product development disciplines to develop medical products using honey and other products from bees and their environment. Anthony brings a wealth of experience in the natural health, biotech, food and beverage industries. He has a strong track record of driving strong revenue growth and capital raising with leading companies such as A2 Milk, Vital Foods and more recently Good Heath Products.
Anthony is going to talk about the major study finding NZ K?nuka Honey product is as effective for the treatment for cold sores. A unique pharmacy-backed trial, one of the largest medical studies of its kind ever undertaken in this country, has shown that honey derived from the New Zealand k?nuka tree is just as effective in healing cold sores as standard pharmaceutical anti-viral treatment- aciclovir cream.
